Founded in 1991 the American University in Bulgaria (AUBG) offers 9 major programs and 11 minor programs. The American University in Bulgaria is accredited both in the United States (by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges) and in Bulgaria (by the National Agency for Evaluation and Accreditation).
